Cloud Solutions

Cloud migration and support for South Florida businesses

I move your email and files to Microsoft 365, Google Workspace or Azure, then keep everything running, secured and backed up.

The cloud should make work easier: email and files that follow your people to any device, no server closet to babysit. In practice, a rushed move can lose email, break shared folders or leave accounts wide open.

BizIT Consultants has focused on Microsoft technology since 2017, including Active Directory, Azure and Office 365, and I also work with Google Workspace. I am certified in Microsoft technology and plan the move, do the migration and stay on to administer the system.

I explain your options in plain terms, including when staying put is the better choice.

Problems I help businesses solve

  • Email and files are scattered

Documents live on one person's laptop, an old server and three different apps. Finding the right version wastes time.

  • Fear of a botched migration

Owners worry about lost email, downtime and staff who cannot log in on Monday morning.

  • Nobody administers the platform

Licenses pile up, former employees keep access and security settings stay at default because no one has time to manage them.

  • Assuming the cloud backs itself up

Cloud providers keep their service running, but protecting your data from deletion, mistakes or attacks is usually your job.

What I do

Cloud Solutions

Why BizIT

What you get working with me

  • Work from anywhere, safely

Staff reach email and files from the office, home or a client site, with access you control.

  • Less hardware to maintain

Fewer servers to replace, power and protect, which also helps when storms threaten the office.

  • One partner for the whole move

Planning, migration, training and ongoing administration all come from me, one local person you reach directly.

Who this is for

  • Companies with remote or multi-site staff
  • Businesses outgrowing an old on-site server
  • Law, accounting and consulting firms
  • Schools and nonprofits

How it works

From first call to working solution

  1. Step 1

    Discovery

I inventory your mailboxes, files, apps and users, and you and I agree on what moves and what does not.

  2. Step 2

    Plan

You get a written plan with timing, what staff will notice and how I will protect your data during the switch.

  3. Step 3

    Migrate

I move the data in stages, test it, and cut over at a time that suits your business.

  4. Step 4

    Support

I train your team, then administer the platform and keep it secure and backed up.

FAQ

Common questions

Should I choose Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace?

Both work well. Microsoft 365 tends to suit businesses that rely on Excel, Outlook and Windows tools, while Google Workspace appeals to teams that live in a browser. I will ask how you work and recommend one honestly.

Will I lose email or have downtime during a migration?

A planned migration should not lose email. I move data in stages, verify it and switch over at a quiet time. Staff may need to sign in again on their devices, and I tell them ahead of time.

How long does a migration take?

It depends on how many mailboxes you have and how much data. A small office can be moved in days, while larger or messier setups take longer. I give you a timeline after the discovery step.

Do I still need backups if I use the cloud?

Usually yes. Cloud platforms keep their service running, but accidental deletion, ransomware or a compromised account can still cost you data. A separate online backup gives you a way to recover.

Can you move me from Google Workspace to Microsoft 365, or the other way?

Yes. I migrate email, calendars, contacts and files in either direction, as well as from older on-site servers.

Is the cloud safe for regulated data like patient records?

It can be, when configured correctly and covered by the right agreements with the vendor. I help you set it up securely. I am not a law firm, so your attorney or compliance advisor should confirm what your rules require.
