Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 28, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains what information BizIT Consultants LLC (“BizIT”, “we”, “us”) collects when you visit askbizit.com (the “Website”), how we use it, and the choices you have. We are an IT consulting company serving businesses in South Florida.
Information we collect
Information you give us
If you contact us through the Website, by email or by phone, we receive what you choose to share, such as your name, company, email address, phone number, the service you are interested in, and your message. We collect this information only from you, when you choose to send it.
When you submit the contact form on the Website, your message is sent to our Website server, which emails it to info@askbizit.com. We include your IP address and the time in that email to help us spot abuse. We also keep a copy of each message, with the details you entered and the technical information above, in a private file on our hosting account that only we can access. We also send you a short automatic confirmation email at the address you entered. To limit spam and abuse, the server keeps short-lived, hashed records of your IP address (for up to a few hours) and of your email address (for up to a day) to count how many messages and confirmations are sent. These records cannot be turned back into the original address.
Please do not send sensitive information through the contact form or by email, such as passwords, Social Security numbers, payment card numbers, or health information. If we need that kind of information to help you, we will arrange a secure way to receive it.
Information collected automatically
When you visit the Website, certain information is collected automatically:
- Server logs. Our hosting provider records technical information about each request, such as your IP address, browser type, device type, the pages you request, and the date and time. This is used to deliver the Website and keep it secure.
- Analytics. We use two analytics tools to understand how the Website is used:
- Google Analytics uses cookies and similar technologies to collect information such as your pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser details, and how you arrived at the Website. Google processes this data under its own privacy policy, and explains how it uses information from sites that use its services here. You can opt out with the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
- Plausible Analytics is a privacy-focused tool that reports aggregated visit statistics. According to its data policy, it does not use cookies, does not store IP addresses or raw browser identifiers, and processes data in the European Union.
- Browser storage. The Website stores your light or dark theme choice in your browser so it can remember it. This is not shared with anyone and does not identify you.
In general, the automatically collected information includes identifiers such as your IP address and device or browser details, and information about your visit such as pages viewed and approximate location.
We do not have user accounts, and we do not run advertising on the Website.
How we use your information
We use the information we collect to:
- Respond to your questions and requests, including free consultation requests, and follow up about them.
- Provide, quote and support the services you ask us for.
- Keep the Website secure and working properly.
- Understand how the Website is used so we can improve it.
- Meet legal and accounting obligations and protect our rights.
How we share your information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only in these situations:
- Service providers that help us run the Website and our business, such as our website hosting provider, email provider and analytics providers (Google and Plausible). They process the information under their own terms and privacy policies, and we choose providers we consider reputable.
- Legal reasons. When required by law or a valid legal request, or when reasonably necessary to protect our rights, our customers or the public, or to investigate fraud or security issues.
- Business transfers. If BizIT is involved in a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.
- With your consent, or at your direction.
Cookies
Google Analytics sets cookies in your browser. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or use the opt-out add-on linked above. The Website works if you do this. Plausible does not use cookies.
Do Not Track
The Website does not currently change its behavior in response to “Do Not Track” browser signals. You can limit analytics tracking with the opt-out add-on and cookie settings described above.
Where information is processed
The Website is intended for businesses in the United States. Information you send us is processed in the United States. Our analytics and hosting providers may process information in the United States and other countries, and Plausible processes its data in the European Union.
How long we keep information
We keep the messages and contact details you send us, including the copy stored on our server, for as long as needed to respond to you, provide services, and keep ordinary business records, and as required by law. We do not set an automatic deletion date, but you can ask us to delete your message at any time. Analytics data is kept according to the settings and policies of each analytics provider. You can ask us to delete your information (see “Your choices” below), subject to any legal or record-keeping requirements.
Security
We use reasonable measures to protect the information we receive. No website, email or storage system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your choices
You can contact us at any time to ask what information we hold about you, to correct it, or to ask us to delete it. We will respond within a reasonable time. You can also ask us to stop contacting you.
To make a request, email info@askbizit.com. We may ask you to confirm your identity before acting on a request. Analytics data from Google and Plausible is not tied to your name, so we usually cannot look up or delete an individual visitor’s analytics record; the opt-out tools above are the way to control that data.
Children’s privacy
The Website is intended for business use and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
Links to other websites
The Website links to other sites that we do not control, such as our Instagram page and the sources cited on the Website. We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices, and we encourage you to read their privacy policies.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top shows when it last changed. Changes take effect when they are posted on this page. If we make a material change, we will say so at the top of this page.
