Automation & Application Development

Automate the busywork your team repeats every day

Power Automate, Power Apps and scripts that move data, route approvals and handle routine IT tasks, built around how your business already works.

Every office has the same jobs done by hand: copying form entries into a spreadsheet, chasing approvals by email, creating accounts for new hires, renaming files. Each one is small. Together they take hours every week and cause mistakes.

BizIT builds the automation for you. If you use Microsoft 365, I start with Power Automate and Power Apps, because you may already own much of what you need. For server and IT tasks I write PowerShell and Bash scripts.

I document what I build and hand it over in a form you can understand, so you are not locked into me to keep it running.

Problems I help businesses solve

  • The same data typed in twice

Someone copies information from email, forms or invoices into another system. It is slow and errors creep in.

  • Approvals stuck in inboxes

Purchase requests, time off and document sign-offs get lost in email threads with no record of who approved what.

  • Onboarding and offboarding by memory

Creating accounts, mailboxes and access for a new hire depends on someone remembering every step.

  • One person's secret spreadsheet

A critical process runs on a file only one employee understands, and it breaks when they are out.

What I do

Automation & Application Development

Why BizIT

What you get working with me

  • Hours back every week

Routine steps run on their own, so your team spends time on customers and the work only they can do.

  • Fewer mistakes

A flow does the same thing the same way every time, and leaves a record of what it did.

  • Built for what you already own

I check your existing Microsoft 365 licenses first and tell you plainly if a paid add-on is needed before you commit.

Who this is for

  • Property management and real estate
  • Construction and trades
  • Logistics and import-export companies
  • Professional services firms

How it works

From first call to working solution

  1. Step 1

    Pick the right process

I walk through your week with you and choose the repetitive task that will save the most time with the least risk.

  2. Step 2

    Map it on paper

I write down each step, who does it and what the exceptions are, before building anything.

  3. Step 3

    Build and test

I build it, test it with your real data, and train the people who will use it.

  4. Step 4

    Monitor and improve

I watch for failures, fix breakages when connected apps change, and look for the next candidate.

FAQ

Common questions

What is Power Automate and do I already have it?

Power Automate is Microsoft's tool for building automated workflows. Many Microsoft 365 plans include some of it, while certain connections need a separate paid license. I check which of your licenses already cover what you need and tell you before building anything.

What kinds of tasks can be automated?

Good candidates are repetitive, rule-based and happen often: saving email attachments to the right folder, sending approval requests, creating tickets from forms, onboarding new users, and producing weekly reports.

What is the difference between Power Automate and Power Apps?

Power Automate runs tasks in the background when something happens. Power Apps gives people a screen to work with, like a form or checklist on a phone. They are often used together.

Do I need to be on Microsoft 365?

No. My scripting work covers Windows, Linux and Mac environments, and I can connect many non-Microsoft apps. Microsoft 365 just makes the fastest and cheapest starting point for most offices.

What happens when an automation breaks?

Automations can fail when a password expires or a connected app changes. I set up failure alerts, document each flow, and can monitor and fix them under a support arrangement.

How much does automation cost?

It depends on the process and any license fees. Small flows are quick to build. I give you a written scope and estimate first, and I tell you if the time saved will not justify the cost.
